It will begin!
Yes, it’s still happening. GunEngine Zero will launch on Kickstarter on Tuesday, April 26th.
And HERE is a 6-page preview of the book to get you even more excited than you already (obviously) are. These are the six pages that are in the preview ashcan that I’ve been handing out but these are in color. And I still might tweak the dialogue and use a different font.
A Very Special Thanks!
I want to extend a humble and hearty THANK YOU to Benjamin Morse, creator of We Are Scarlet Twilight. I mentioned his book in a previous newsletter (and on podcasts) simply because I genuinely thought it was good.
I approached Ben about helping me reach more potential backers by including a GEZ preview and campaign link in one of his updates. I figured his fans might also dig GEZ because of the similar retro superhero vibe.
And, whaddya know, he agreed to it! Thanks to him, the follower count on the GEZ pre-launch page almost doubled in just 24 hours.
So, thank you, Ben!
And go check out the campaign for We Are Scarlet Twilight issue #3. You can also get #1 and #2, if you need to catch up.
Peep Show
Want another sneak peek at the adult horror anthology that I’ll be crowdfunding later this year? Here ya go! This is another piece by Juaco Guerra. And did I mention that this book is going to be adult? Very adult!
The Amazing Con-Man
I’ve updated my display for conventions and made a video about it HERE on Youtube.
And here’s my updated con schedule:
April 30th in Hickory, NC (I decided to try this one again with my new display just to see if it makes any difference)
May 14th in Nashville, TN (booked)
May 21st in Asheville, NC (booked)
June 18th at Hero Hype in Orlando, FL (booked)
August 13th at FarleyCon in East Ridge, TN (booked)
I’m still on waiting lists for a few cons so if anything changes, I’ll update it here.
Podcast World Tour Continues
Cody from Keeping It Geekly was kind enough to have me on. You can go HERE to check out our chat and support his channel. We concentrated mostly on the Kickstarter campaign so we went pretty deep into that.
I was also on Think Indie Extra with Dodgy and Tracy. We talked mostly about my previous work on six:eight, Neotheric and Book of Legend. Check it out HEEEERE!
I’ll be doing more podcasts in the coming weeks so be on the lookout!
This Week in Randomness
My kids have this nasty habit of sometimes eating with their hands. My son did it recently and this dumb, dad joke popped into my head.
Til Next We Meet!
I think I might put out another newsletter just before GEZ launches to give an updated rundown on everything I’ll be offering in the campaign, specifically some stretch goals I just added.
