Your Opinion Matters
As a special treat for all of you that actually read this newsletter, I’ve made a sneak peek version of the campaign that you can take a look at and leave your suggestions/comments/questions before it goes live.
I’ve done this before and gotten some good feedback that led to me making some changes. So, please take this chance to give it a view and share your opinions about anything and everything with me.
The Most Dangerous Game
During the 7 years that I lived in China, I found myself with a lot of downtime. It could be while riding the ferry from Hong Kong to Zhuhai, riding the train from Guangzhou to Beijing or the few months that I sat around my apartment watching Chinese soap operas because I didn’t have a job.
It was in those times that I was glad that I brought my PSP with me. Most of the times I would play a classic game called Rolling Thunder. Why? Because it was infuriating! I could never get past the 3rd level.
Well, after returning to America, I forgot all about it. My PSP sat in a drawer for years because I just didn’t have very much free time anymore.
But, one day, I happened to come across my PSP and remembered that damn game. I thought, “You know what? I’m gonna beat that damn game if it’s the last thing I do!”
So, just about every night before going to sleep, I would fire up my PSP and play that damn game. It took about 6 months and I came very close to smashing my PSP against the wall SEVERAL times but I eventually defeated that DAMN GAME!
And the image below is what I got for all my troubles. “That’s it?!” we both seemed to say to each other with our dead eyes.
Moral of the story? I’ll be damned if I ever let a video game beat me! Even if it takes decades, I will not relent until I’m victorious!
(Unless it’s Echo The Dolphin. Fuck that game!)
Until next time!
